Swallowtail
A swallowtail butterfly is dancing in the wind, across and round the garden. It alights on the Buddleia, closing it's wings. A jewel in the sun.
The Bird, Bee and Butterfly garden is in full glory on this hot, sultry afternoon.
The Rudbeckia is in full bloom, yellow flowers nodding in the breeze and bouncing as bee's alight and depart. Some doze in the sun, facedown in the pollen. do they dream of fields of flowers? I have never seen Bee's in so many shapes and sizes, from tiny tip of your finger nail size to giants with a jet engine buzz.
